The Cupcake Club was created when Katie Brown's best friend Callie Wilson dumped her to join the PGC ( popular girls club) . It is first mentioned in Katie and the Cupcake Cure. The Cupcake Club is the group of Katie Brown, Mia Velaz-Cruz, Emma Taylor and Alexis Becker who all hang out and bake cupcakes. Katie's future step-sister Emily unnofficially joins in Katie Starting From Scratch. The club is metioned in all 33 books of the series and each book contains different recipes that the girls make. To advertise they often make flyers or posters. In the cupcake war they competed with the girls of the BFC (The newer group name) and there tye dye cupcakes won the contest. Most times the recipes deal with a theme like in the 8th book, when they deidce to make cupcakes for the swim meet.
